RCI Logistics Past Performance

Government Contractor in Support of US Army’s PEO Soldier Program

RCI Logistics was awarded – as the low cost and technically acceptable party and served as the lead logistics provider and project manager in support of four (4) large project type shipments for a large government contractor responsible for providing and transporting military goods to and from US bases in Germany and Kuwait. The project was in support of soldiers deployed under PEO Soldier’s Rapid Fielding Initiative (RFI).

RCI arranged and managed the transport of approximately 1000 skids US Army cargoes to US Army Garrison Katterbach and US Army Garrison Grafenwoehr. RCI handled the return of approximately 400 skids of the same freight from the Garrisons in Germany back to the US. RCI also handled over 300 skids to Camp Buehring in Kuwait over the peak holiday season. 

Additionally, RCI managed the transport of approximately 1500 skids US Army cargoes to from the USA to Hawaii. This multimodal project included (30) Full Truck Loads and (40) FCL ocean containers. RCI also handled the return of approximately 400 skids of the same freight from the Hawaii back to the US main land.

DLA Prime Vendor Food Program

RCI Logistics & M2 Transport managed the domestic transport of over two million pounds / over 100 truckloads of food stuffs for ultimate transport via chartered aircraft to support the troops in Afghanistan. The team arranged for pick up from vendors located in five states supporting aircraft departures from LAX, ORD and JFK. A large portion of the freight was perishable in nature and packed in dry ice in insure a frozen and cool supply chain.
